best lessons I’ve Learned from my month on clubhouse

I’ve been on Clubhouse every single day for the past month. I have both hosted rooms, and listened in on rooms. This has been the single most important platform I have ever been on. The question I get asked most is, “what is Clubhouse?”

What is Clubhouse?

Clubhouse is an exclusive, invite only app that creates space for people to talk to each other. It is audio only, so it feels like a live podcast that you can listen and/or speak on. Currently this app is only for iOS users, and is still in beta mode.

This app has many different types of rooms you can join. You can hop on top network, hear live music, or get into some after dark conversations. You can follow people, and others will choose to follow you.

What is so compelling about Clubhouse?

Clubhouse makes networking with others in your field more accessible. The relationships I have built in my four short weeks on this app have proven to be substantial and deep. Why is this?

This platform has taught me the value of giving value. The more value you provide your clubhouse community, the more people are compelled to follow you on this platform and other social media platforms. Clubhouse is about giving value. The most “successful” people on this app are the ones who give the most value when they speak.

What rooms have I been in?

I typically hang out in social media rooms. I have learned so much about the illusive pinterest, and given and gotten great tips on how to grow an organic following on instagram. I also like to hang out in and host mommy rooms, talking about specific parenting topics I feel passionately about.

I have networked with other influencers and have gained an incredible community of women and men I look up to. We help each other and have formed real life relationships from spending time together on Clubhouse.

Every room I’m in, I gather so many gems and can ask specific questions about the topic, specific to my business. Then, the best of the best in the business can answer my specific questions. I have never seen barriers removed so quickly on any other app.
